Shropshire Bake Off Competition

After a bit of prompting from a friend by nominating I enter on their facebook page, I plucked up the courage and put my thinking cap on.

The brief asked for :
  • Creativity,
  • Taste,
  • Presentation,
  • Theme,
Now I love Christmas and its fast approaching. So "Waiting for Santa" was the theme I chose, baking a spiced chocolate cake which I decorated as a mug for Santa, with a carrot for Rudolph a couple of Ginger Bread men and of course a Mince Pie.

I really enjoyed doing this and hope all who tried the cake enjoyed it.
